Jonah and the Great Fish

Sculpted from Basswood grown on Vancouver Island, Canada. The Whale’s teeth were sculpted from the roots of Arctic Fox Teeth found in the local dump near Gjoa Haven, Nunavut, Canada. Jonah was sculpted from Ceramic. Jonah’s eyes, the whale’s eyes and the whale’s blowhole are inlaid polished Mussel Shell found on a Vancouver Island beach. The base is highly polished sculpted Plexiglas.
